Article // Problems of archeology of Eurasia and North America. - M. : 1977. — C. 123-129. Among the numerous archaeological sites of the Kuban region, the study of which was conducted by N. and . Veselovsky, was excavated in 1889 . kurgan at Zubovsky farm and in 1899-1902 . kurgan 1 at the village Ust-Labinskaya . In the Ust-Labinsky mound in the inlet grave, "among the naked was a stone-obelisk, 1.75 m long" . In the mound at Zubovsky farm at a depth of 1.4 m there was a horizontally lying stone 2.3 m long .. The classification of obelisk stones to catacomb culture, judging by the images on them, is hardly possible. In both cases, apparently, they are associated with the inlet burials of the Early Scythian time.. Obelisks from the mounds at the Ust-Labinskaya and Zubovsky farms, undoubtedly, belong to one circle of monuments ..
