Southern Siberia (Minusinskaya basin) is a country of ancient and bright cultures, but various types of archaeological sites are studied unevenly here. The best explored are the gravesites, the least are the settlements. The settlement of Torgazhak - the largest settlement of the Late Bronze Age currently known - is located in the south of the Minusinskaya Kotlovina .. Excavations of the settlement were carried out in 1988-1990. The settlement belongs to the late stage of the Karasuk culture and dates back to 10-9 in .. before n. e.
