The book gives a classification of dangerous natural processes, their brief description, describes the prevailing ideas about how to assess the degree of danger of processes. It is shown that many processes occurring on Earth are somehow associated with variations in solar activity. A temporary analysis of the course of some processes in the territories of Siberia and Mongolia has been performed. The main part of the book is a chronology of natural and social phenomena, which is a solid copy of the database covering more than 500 years of regional history. An integral part of this database is the Atlas of Illustrations, placed on CDs. It includes copies of two historical rarities of Siberia - "A Brief Siberian Chronicle (Kungur)" and "Devil's Book of Siberia", created at the end of the XVII century. Semyon Remezov, as well as some thematic collections of illustrations on cartography of Siberia, ethnography, natural phenomena, Siberian cities, heraldry of Siberian and Mongolian cities and settlements, etc. p. Atlas is designed to help the reader to plunge into the distant past of our country, to feel the spirit of history and get acquainted with the portrait gallery of its researchers.
