The formulation of the Cauchy problem for Maxwell equations describing the diffraction of a plane wave on a three-dimensional object is considered. Constructed an effective density of current emitting a given flat wave. The uniqueness of the solution to the Cauchy problem is shown . The boundary conditions for the initial boundary problem are formulated, the uniqueness of its solution is shown. Clear difference scheme for numerical solution is selected, difference boundary conditions are constructed.
