In Sat. : Physics abroad, sir. B "Teaching", M. , World, 1988, with. 103-113. According to the Big Bang theory, the universe formed about 15 billion years ago and then continues to expand. If we use some elementary physical principles in this cosmological theory, we can come to the paradox that distant astronomical objects could be located at distances from the Earth that exceed the permissible size of the Universe. The paradox is solved with the help of the concepts of general relativity, which may seem to the reader somewhat exotic.
