This protocol is a guide for practitioners involved in the management and treatment of patients with acute and chronic viral liver disease, and is subject to annual review. The draft protocol for the management of patients with acute and chronic hepatitis B and C includes diagnostic and therapeutic measures in the following areas: clinical and laboratory-instrumental monitoring ; Basic therapy ; Antiviral therapy ; Antibacterial therapy ; syndrome therapy (including infusion therapy), including in special groups of patients with chronic hepatitis B or C: with chronic mixed infection: HBV + HDV, HBV + HCV + HDV, HBV + HIV infection ; in chronic HBV infection in patients receiving immunosuppressive therapy ; in patients with acute hepatic insufficiency, in the case of HBV reactivation ; in patients with cirrhosis of the liver in the outcome of chronic hepatitis B and C ; in patients with cirrhosis in the outcome of chronic hepatitis B or C with indications for liver transplantation and in recipients . The principle of forming a draft protocol for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with acute and chronic hepatitis B and C is the dependence of therapeutic tactics on the severity of the disease in the acute phase of infection and on the stage of liver damage in the chronic course of the disease.
