Artistic text, as we have seen, can be considered as a specially arranged mechanism that has the ability to contain extremely highly concentrated information. If we compare the sentence from colloquial speech and the poem, the set of colors and the picture, the gamma and fugue, we can easily see that the main difference between the second and the first is that they are able to enclose, store and transmit what is beyond the possibilities for the first. Our findings are consistent with the basic idea of information theory, which is that the amount of information in a message should be considered as a function of the number of possible alternative messages. The structure of the literary text is permeated by an almost infinite number of boundaries that segment this text into equivalent in different respects and, therefore, alternative segments.
