Albert the Great (lat.) Albertus Magnus (circa 1200280) was a medieval German philosopher, theologian, and scholar. He is a representative of medieval scholasticism, recognized by the Catholic Church as a Teacher of the Church, a mentor to Thomas Aquinas. He was an incredibly versatile personality, he was revered as a great scholastic and sage, a powerful magician, alchemist and soothsayer. In his research, Albert the Great attached great importance to the natural knowledge of the world. With a universal mind, in addition to developing a philosophical system, Albert produced a variety of experimental studies. The presented work of the author is devoted to physiognomy - a method of determining the type of personality of a person, his mental qualities and state of health, based on the analysis of external facial features and his expression.
