Banzarov Dorji (1822 - 1855), orientalist, Buryat orientalist scientist, Buddhist, belonged to the ancient genus Uryankhay . In his article "Black Faith" D. Banzarov made a detailed description of the ancient religion of the Mongols, outlined the views of the Buryat pagans of the XIX century. He provided his work with a large number of brilliant historical excursions and concluded: "the so-called shamanic religion, at least among the Mongols, could not have come from Buddhism or any faith" .. Shamanism arises at the point of convergence and interaction of two worlds: nature and the human spirit.
