Abstract: This book explores the key technological and structural aspects of designing batch mixers used for producing composites from thermoplastic waste. Special attention is given to modeling the mixing process within the working clearance zones where deformation of the processed material occurs in the mixer. An engineering methodology is presented for calculating the operational and design parameters of batch mixers, specifically rotor-type mixers, to ensure the desired quality of the resulting composite thermoplastic materials. This publication is intended for engineers and technical specialists involved in the design and operation of mixing equipment for polymer processing, as well as graduate students, master's candidates, and advanced undergraduates specializing in plastic and elastomer recycling.
