This book examines the key technological and design aspects of creating a labyrinth-type foam mixer—an essential device for producing stable latex foam. It pays particular attention to modeling the foam formation process, the development of foam rubber within the gelation and vulcanization units, and determining the minimum length needed for the gelation section. An engineering methodology for calculating foam rubber production using a labyrinth-type foam mixer is also presented. Intended for engineers and technical specialists involved in designing and operating mixing equipment for polymer processing, as well as graduate students, master's candidates, and advanced undergraduates specializing in plastics and elastomer recycling. This work was carried out with financial support from the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, under project No. 7.3766.2011, focused on developing energy-efficient technologies and equipment for recycling polymer waste and packaging. It also aligns with the scientific school (NS 01.2012.05 TGTU) established on May 28, 2012, dedicated to the theory and practice of sustainable development in natural-industrial systems, including the design of regional recycling complexes, technologies, and equipment.
