This book presents a comprehensive methodology for the multi-faceted assessment of the relative effectiveness of plans. It explores plans based on Latin squares and details the development of a corresponding program written in Fortran for DOS on EC computers. Utilizing this program, a catalog has been created to determine the relative effectiveness of experiments when blocking various sources of heterogeneity. Additionally, it offers a priori evaluations to select the optimal alloy for conducting experiments under conditions of potential heterogeneity.
