The book summarizes the results of many years of research and production experience of industrial breeding of fish in the Azov basin, considers data on the systematics, biology and distribution of fish in the range. Various methods of fish breeding used in the Azov-Don and Azov-Kuban regions, including harvesting of mature fish on river tones at different migration times and keeping producers in the conditions of fish-breeding complexes, were analyzed. The features of the new technology of breeding a fish on the Don are considered, including an assessment of the physiological state of the producers of the autumn and spring spawning season and their offspring obtained by hormonal exposure; optimization of the intensive form of teasing young fish in monoculture and in polyculture with shemaia ; criteria for release into natural bodies of water young .
