The work for the student workshop on optics is delivered in the centimeter range of electromagnetic waves (l 3.2 cm). As a single-axis crystal for radio waves, a layered dielectric structure made of thin sheets of organic glass is used. The indicator of reflection and rotation of the polarization line of the reflected wave is investigated. The observed results of the experiment are consistent with the theory of reflection of a linearly polarized wave from a single-axis crystal.
