Sorting algorithms and their implementation in C++ language are considered. This guidance covers the following sorting methods: selection method, bubble method, insertion method, fusion method, and quick sort. The issues of evaluating the effectiveness of algorithms using notation are considered in detail. The methodical instruction includes tasks for laboratory work "Methods of sorting". Methodical instructions can be used by junior students studying the disciplines "Informatics", "Programming in high-level languages" when studying the topic "Sort methods" and when performing practical and laboratory work on this topic.
