The proposed manual is one of the results of the three-year work of the “Perspective” ROOI to solve the problems of employment of people with disabilities . During this time, two projects were implemented with the financial support of the Ford Foundation: “Employment of disabled people: an integrated approach” and “Creating a model of employment for young people with disabilities”. Projects were held in the cities: Moscow, Samara, Togliatti and Rostov-on-Don, Nizhny Novgorod . The first part of the manual describes the general results of practical work on employment of disabled people, interaction with government agencies and business. The second part presents the author’s vision of the activities of both government agencies and NGOs that can help solve this difficult social task.
