The manual consists of 6 parts. Part "General questions" contains information about the history, basic principles of plastic surgery and wound healing, modern suture materials, principles of patchwork plastics and transplants . The issues of microneurovascular surgery and the peculiarities of the practice of aesthetic surgery . In the section "Skin and its lesions" there are chapters devoted to the treatment of burns, vascular tumors, pigment and malignant neoplasms, as well as information on the use of lasers in dermatology 11 surgery . The remaining chapters cover modern data on anatomy, embryology, diagnosis and treatment of congenital pathology, tumor diseases, injuries and their consequences of the head and neck, breast, torso and limbs areas within the competence of plastic surgeons. Also described in detail the main surgical interventions from the section of aesthetic plastic surgery. The publication is approved by the Training Committee of the Russian Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (OPREH) as a guide for the training of plastic surgeons, as well as for students of the faculties of postgraduate education of doctors and senior students of medical universities .
