Honggar (in Beijing dialect - Hongjiaquan) is the most famous outside the PRC South Chinese style Wushu. Its characteristic features are low positions, a large number of transitions, side attacks, short hard blows and blocks. Hands are used to strike 'tiger's foot', 'phoenix's eye', rib palms, fingers; legs only strike lower and middle level. It is a fast, maneuverable and effective style of real combat. This book is the first guide to the Hungar style in Russian. It contains all the basic technique of style, gives instructions on training methods and tactics of fights, outlines a brief history of the emergence of this style in the Hun clan ('family').
