In modern conditions, the problem of drug resistance of microorganisms has become global. Polyresistant microorganisms are the cause of severe forms of hospital-acquired purulent-septic infections (HSIs) caused by opportunistic microorganisms, as well as a variety of infectious diseases (tuberculosis, dysentery, salmonellosis) . Irrational antibiotic therapy increases the period of stay of patients in hospitals, leads to serious complications and deaths, causes significant economic damage. This dictates the need to introduce into the work of clinical epidemiologists and bacteriologists a set of analytical studies and organized activities to conduct dynamic monitoring of the structure and level of drug resistance of microorganisms.
