Collection No. 1 includes a number of papers read by various researchers at the 110th Congress of the American Chemical Society in G.. Chicago in September 1946 . Published in 1947[edit] in Ind. Eng. Chem. No. 3 . The scientific and practical importance of fluorine chemistry has long been appreciated in our country, At present, fluorine chemistry is firmly established in everyday life by including a new type of fluorine-containing compounds in the range of technical products. Highly resistant plastics, non-aging, perpetual lubricants, light-resistant dyes, active insecticides, harmless coolants, efficient dielectrics, catalysts and other materials. New methods of introducing fluorine into organic compounds and improvements in electrolyzer designs have raised the question of the availability of fluorine chemical compounds in a new way. Together with the accumulation of preparative experience and the knowledge of the physical and chemical properties of fluoride derivatives, a number of theoretical problems arose, the solution of which is of general importance. The enormous reserves of fluorine in the earth's crust and the special properties of fluorine, determined by its position in the periodic system of Mendeleev, entail ever-increasing prospects for the use of this element in various fields of technology and science.
