The book in an accessible form, without the use of a complex mathematical apparatus, but at the same time quite strictly sets out the basics of cosmodynamics - the science of the movement of spacecraft. The first part deals with general issues, propulsion systems for space flights, passive and active flights in the gravitational field. The following parts are devoted to consecutive near-Earth flights, flights to the moon, to the bodies of the solar system (to the planets, their satellites, asteroids, comets) and beyond the planetary system. Special attention is paid to the problems of manned orbital stations and spacecraft. It gives an idea of the methods of research and design of space trajectories and various operations: meetings in orbits, landings, maneuvers in atmospheres, in the gravitational fields of planets (multiplanetary flights, etc.) p. ), flights with low thrust and solar sail, and t. d. elementary formulas are given, allowing the reader to independently estimate the initial masses of carriers and vehicles starting from near-earth orbit, to determine favorable seasons for interplanetary flights, etc.
