This edition is a reference guide to classical and applied celestial mechanics. It is significantly different from the first edition, which was released in 1971. This edition introduces a new part (part IX) devoted to the movement of celestial bodies near the center of mass. Other branches of celestial mechanics, covering the theory of unperturbed and indignant motions of celestial bodies, analytical, numerical and qualitative methods, have been greatly expanded and supplemented.
