The monograph discusses mathematical models of operations for the treatment of retinal detachment. Using asymptotic and numerical methods, the strain-deformed state and local stability of the eye membrane in the vicinity of the circular seam are investigated. Proposed one of the possible biomechanical models for the development of vascular sheath detachment, most often occurring in injuries of the eyeball. The problem of constructing a model for the development of glaucomatous atrophy of the optic nerve is described. The book is intended for biochemists, ophthalmologists.
