The novel "Dipendra" is based on the recent bloody events in Nepal - the execution of the royal family by Crown Prince Dipendra. However, this is only the official version that the son shot his family. The author also draws on other versions, both documentary and mystical. In the Nepalese tragedy, he explores primarily the reflection of universal human problems. According to Yuri Mamleev, who wrote the preface to this book, “Russia, the West and the East meet in this novel, as if in some kind of surreal lair.”
