The story tells how the hand of Luke Skywalker, which he lost in the battle with Darth Vader in Cloud City, came to the emperor. After a long and persistent search, Vader finds Skywalker's severed limb with a lightsaber clutched in it, and, on Palpatine's orders, hurries to deliver it to the citadel on Wayland. Suddenly, long-forgotten feelings and emotions begin to awaken in Vader. Perhaps Anakin Skywalker isn't so dead after all?
