The collection presents more than 200 problems in the linear theory of oscillations and waves, covering the main provisions of the theory, the mathematical apparatus, as well as problems on oscillatory and wave processes from various fields of physics. Considerable attention is paid to such important sections of the theory as associated oscillations and waves, wave instability, waves in liquid, waves in dispersing media. The tasks were tested at the seminars on the course of the theory of vibrations and waves at the physics faculty and the faculty of nonlinear processes of Saratov State University .
