This book contains two sets oftables for the geocentric motion of the Moon.The first set provides time-dependent expansions of the longi tude, lat itude, and radius vectorof the Moon, referred to the mean ecliptic and equinox of date . These tables include a largenumber o( terms in order to ensure a sufficient precision in the present period for most users. Forhistorians and others who do not need this full precision, procedures are given for computingmiddle- and low-precision coordinates that usea mvch smaller number of terms of the ta bles (withJow-precision, 72 terms for the three coordinates inclusively). Included are formulae for computingcoordinates referred to other: reference frames, in particular the true equator and equinox ofdate, and for correc tions of aberration.
