Herbs and other plants have long been used by men to help treat health problems. They were the first medicine. Just because we have modern medicine does not mean that we can’t still use these plants to help us heal. Most people are afraid of using plants for healing because they don’t understand them. Yes, some poisonous plants should not be ingested, but with the right information, you can safely use plants as medicine.Then there is the issue of not having the space to grow the herbs and plants. A lot of people live in apartments or in a house that doesn’t have much of a yard. That’s okay. Most of the plants are very hardy once they have been established and do very well in boxes. The most important thing is to make sure they get the light they need, and even if you don’t have a south-facing window, you can use a grow light. There’s no reason not to grow your plants for medicinal and culinary purposes.
