"Ramayana, Volume 2. Aranya, Kishkindha and Sundara Kandam" is the second volume of the great epic in the Ukrainian language. In this part of the epic, the events of the efforts of Rama, the main character, to save his wife Sita, who has been kidnapped by a demon, are revealed.
In the Aranya chapter, Rama and Lakshmana enter the forest, where their separation from civilization and perception of being filled with spiritual reality begins. "Kishkindha" is set in the land of monkeys, where Rama meets true allies in his struggle, among them the illustrious Ganesh. "Sundara Kandam" represents the part where Sita shows her devotion to Rama and goes through the ordeal, forming one of the most emotional moments in this part of the epic.
The author Valmiki skillfully combines the layers of myths, a deep understanding of human nature and the eternal problems of good and evil. This work not only tells about the exploits of the heroes, but also inspires the reader to high spiritual goals and self-improvement.
