"Là-bas" is a novel by the French writer Joris-Carl Hismans, which was published in 1891. The book tells the story of Guillaume de Rennes, a writer from Paris who is outraged by the destructive influence of modern society on moral values. Rennes begins researching Satanism and black magic to understand this dark side of human nature.
