The book contains solutions for the nowadays problems of managing and monitoringenergy equipment of electric power systems, transmission and distribution electricnetworks, which arise in modern conditions of the electricity market and the wideimplementation of Smart Grid technologies in Integrated Power System (IPS) ofUkraine.The research results presented in the book allow to find solutions to some of theproblems that arise during the functioning of the IPS of Ukraine in present conditionsin a series of key R&D areas.This book covers new technologies and methods related to models for short-termforecasting of electricity imbalances in the IPS of Ukraine, taking into account theimpact of forecasts of energy production from renewable sources on the accuracyof the imbalance forecast.
