There is a short forward at the beginning by Saul David - former story editor, MGM. It briefly (two pages worth) tells of his meeting with Michael Crichton and Paul Lazarus about this film. After that there is an eleven page introduction by Michael Crichton, titled "Shooting Westworld". The author tells how hard it was to get anyone interested in the script and how difficult it was making the film. Plus, he gives some insight on why they did certain scenes like they did. At eleven pages it's not really that in-depth. There is also a 32-page "photo portfolio" in the middle of the book, consisting of 30 B&W photos of scenes from the film and a few behind the scenes photos of the production. Most of the photos have captions explaining what you're looking at.The rest of the book is the script of the film itself - all the dialog and scene information (107 pages).
