The friendship between the boy and the fox began recently; the boy was only 8 when he met the fox. Because of his age, his family does not take him seriously and he ran away from his parents into the forest. There he found a fox who became very attached to him. They played together, hunted and even slept almost together. But the father, seeing that there was a fox in the yard near his boy, took a gun and shot at the fox, thinking that the fox wanted to harm the child. At the child’s request, they arranged a modest funeral for the fox and the boy brought a flower to the grave until he was 14, and then the family moved to the city.
