Today, in a variety of social groups, disappointment and a feeling of futility are growing, a feeling that the last 20 years, with all their upheavals and sacrifices, have brought the country to a dead end. The consequences of the recent economic crisis are in no way the cause, but only some particular “taste enhancer” of this dominant feeling. This is a feeling that the Russian culturologist and publicist Evgeniy Trubetskoy described at the beginning of the last century with the words: “An attempt to sum up the first decade of the 20th century. takes us into the atmosphere of a famous folk tale. Sitting over a broken trough always predisposes to philosophical reflection. Naturally, the question arises: why was it broken, why did all our bright dreams collapse one after another? Just recently the tower and palaces were close to completion. Why is it that now even a bright and spacious hut seems to us an unattainable happiness. What is discussed in the media as “projects of the future” is in fact turned to the past. This is either a return to one form or another of the Soviet model (“silicon valley” in Skolkovo – reproduction of the Soviet experience from “sharashkas” to science cities), or dreams of the 90s as a “time of opportunity.”
