The publication represents the memoirs of young prisoners of fascism, recorded by employees of the Central Library of the city of Krasnoarmeysk, Moscow Region. Children and war, it would seem, these concepts are incompatible. But, while honoring the veterans of the Great Patriotic War, remembering with gratitude their military and labor feats, we also remember those who knew all the horrors and hardships of war as children. The war crippled thousands of children's destinies and took away a bright and joyful childhood. The book tells not only about the difficult years of captivity, but also how the lives of these people turned out after the war.
