Successful Parisian lawyer Alain Cramer wakes up on the sofa in his living room, completely naked next to his assistant... Neither of them can understand what happened and how they ended up here: competitors? black magic? Voodooism? Unfortunately, Kramer's wife catches them, and he has to come up with increasingly incredible excuses to save the marriage. The play, which became a sensation last theatrical season in Paris (premiered in September 2014 at the Madeleine Theater), combines the generic features of vaudeville and sitcom with the theater of the absurd. Homerically funny dialogues, jokes on the verge of a foul, but at the same time very serious problems are touched upon. Critics call the plays of Sébastien Thierry “smart boulevard” and compare them with the works of Ionesco, Beckett, Adamov. The play “Two Naked Men” is nominated for the 2015 Moliere Prize.
