An interplanetary geological reconnaissance pilot intercepted an unknown comet far from the Sun, took samples and discovered an unusual diamond in the cometary material. This simply cannot happen, diamonds are not formed in comets! This is a story about how often the most unnecessary things can lead to the biggest discoveries!
