This book opens the “Collector” trilogy, which tells the story of the relationship between people and the spirits of the air - loggers, who, after people invented photonic computers, became computer viruses, and, having mastered the computer systems of most inhabited worlds, tried to reduce humanity to the level of an appendage of a computer. This book is about the struggle of representatives of three intelligent species - humans, gnorrs and eulers - on the surface of planets and in space, in dungeons and inside computer networks against enslavers. In addition, the proposed book is a bit of a natural science textbook. Belonging to the genre of science fiction, a little reminiscent of the books of Poul Anderson and Robert Enoon Highline, it is more difficult to understand, requiring more attention, concentration and, of course, knowledge. Not intended for a wide range of readers.
