The author is Margarita Berdysheva (psychotherapist, writer; the first book was published in 1994; in her literary work she appears under the pseudonyms Asklepiy Golubets and Marina Berds; in liters - two books; she has participated in liters competitions for the fourth time). The story is written in the genre of satirical comedy. The purpose of the story is to show what else a resilient former Soviet man is capable of, who does not know how to live on unearned income, but can get out of a difficult complicated situation unscathed. The story is written in easy language, rich in humor, satire and vivid character images. The main conflict of the story is the confrontation between the wealth of the loot and the true wealth of mind and ingenuity. The idea of the work is a call for admiration for ordinary Russian people, despite their unfading half-childish pranks even at an advanced age (“veterans do not grow old in spirit”).
