Several years ago I read a conversation between A. Tvardovsky and a writer, where they touched on the issue of puns. And A. Tvardovsky said that this matter is very frivolous and that puns are only suitable for one purpose - for home use. It seemed to me that this was not so, and I had the idea to try to write puns that would be suitable not only for home use. And I became interested in this business and devoted 3 years of my life to puns.
