The book is a commentary by the Third Dalai Lama Sonam Gyatso (1543-1588) on the shortest Lamrim of Je Tsonghawa, first translated from Tibetan into Russian. Here the entire path of the Mahayana sutra tradition is outlined in a condensed form. This teaching was bestowed by the Third Dalai Lama on Altan Khan and the people of Mongolia with the wishes of the widespread dissemination of Buddhism.
