Everyone who is familiar with the work of S. Yesenin is concerned about an important moment in the poet’s biography - death. Indeed, the passing of the “hooligan” is extremely mysterious – what actually happened at the Angleterre Hotel is a real mystery of the 20th century. Many myths have been dispelled; the Internet offers several versions of death. The proposed short postmodern essay offers its own version of events, based on the biographical summaries of the poet.
