The story is based on the story "The Velveteen Rabbit" by the early 20th century American writer Margery Williams. The boy was given a Velvet Bunny for the New Year, whom he fell in love with passionately. But the world of toys is just as cruel as the world of people. Toys with motors turned up their noses, considering themselves the elite. Gradually the Bunny became frayed and faded. One day the governess threw him out. And then... The plot was changed to suit modernity and the Russian mentality. Due to the statute of limitations, the original story is free from licensing restrictions.
