Actor and musician Pyotr Nikolaevich Mamonov is an ambiguous personality, but certainly a bright one. His statements about life in general and Christian life in particular are caught on the fly, torn into quotes. He is fiercely criticized by some, openly admired by others, and some simply do not take him seriously or as a joke. They argue about him: is Mamonov a real Christian or is he simply playing a role in his characteristic manner of shocking?.. All such questions are answered by Mamonov’s little book with a children’s title and childish design - “Squiggles”. These are not the diary entries of Pyotr Nikolaevich, and not full-fledged poems in prose, and not excerpts from a notebook - these are really squiggles that are written, drawn by a hand that is not yet completely obedient, unable to draw the usual lines, but reproducing the inner world of a person who perceives the world childish, and therefore Christian.
