The book by the Russian economist Igor Flor, known mainly for his work on evolutionary economics, sets out the foundations of scientific democracy in a lively and accessible form. The problem of the scientific nature of the social system in general and the democratic one in particular is one of the most pressing in the world. In the course of a systemic analysis, the author reveals the shortcomings of the modern democratic model and proposes the concept of a new scientifically organized democratic society, where the people govern the state using the scientific method. According to the author, within the framework of the proposed concept, many serious problems of modern society find their final solution: corruption, political and economic crises, crime, poverty, etc. The uniqueness of the work lies in the author’s skillful use of parallels between biological, technical and social systems, and also, between the private and public sectors of the economy, which makes it possible to easily explain complex scientific ideas and makes the work accessible to the widest segments of the population. The book will be of interest to economists, lawyers, political scientists, biologists, sociologists, social scientists, programmers, as well as all those interested in issues of democracy, state building, design of social organizations and systems.
