Name E.E. Godika is known from sources in the late 70s and 80s related to various government programs on unconventional (for science of that time) topics, be it EM radiation and humans, or research into the abilities of psychics. The last topic is especially interesting, since under his leadership one of the famous academic laboratories for the study of unusual human abilities was created. A laboratory that was given the go-ahead and was patronized by the top leadership of the USSR. A laboratory visited by many famous psychics of those years. Therefore, the book “The Mystery of Psychics: What Physicists Saw: Man in His Own Light” by such a famous author raises certain expectations, be it confirmation or refutation of the “psychic phenomenon”, experimental methods, further development of interesting projects, like the global consciousness project at Princeton. This work is a short review and review of this book.
