This book includes articles written by the author in different years for the republican media. For the most part, these journalistic materials do not pretend to deeply cover all the phenomena and processes that characterize modern religion in Dagestan. The main emphasis in them is on consideration of some issues of the radicalization of Islam in the North Caucasus. Of course, at the same time, the author could not help but touch upon issues related, for example, to the activities of Muslim organizations, the role and place of Islam in the ideology and political practice of international Islamic centers.
