Power In the first lines, I want to immediately admit to some deceit. Strictly speaking, we are not really talking about “power”. The text will not consider many areas of knowledge that are traditionally referred to as reflections on the nature of power. I am not interested in “power” in general, as a philosophical category, not interested as a sociological and historical phenomenon, etc. The life and fate of large social formations, such as the state, society, fatherland, people, religious denomination and the like, are outside the scope of professional and personal curiosity. We will talk about power, dominance, social hierarchy and leadership in the light of how and what kind of mental mechanisms provide these social phenomena. That is, we should not worry here whether the vertical of power is straight or rotten, why some are from above others from below, how fair and useful social inequality is, why the ruling elites are so sinister and how to get to them.
