"Bolsha Soviet Encyclopedia (UO)" is a large scientific and educational publication that was published in the Soviet Union in 1926. This encyclopedia became one of the most authoritative sources of knowledge for Soviet society and contained a lot of information about various aspects of human life, nature, history, culture and technology. The first edition of the encyclopedia included 65 volumes, and it was later expanded and reprinted in a more compact format. The "Great Soviet Encyclopedia" not only combined a wide general scientific aspect, but also glorified the ideas of communism and socialism. Inside each volume you can find many illustrations, diagrams, tables, maps and graphs, which made the knowledge more accessible to the reader.
