"Great Soviet Encyclopedia" (UE) is a huge and comprehensive book work, which became one of the most important sources of knowledge in the Soviet Union. UE was published in the period from 1926 to 1990, comprising more than 100 volumes. The unique project included scientific and educational articles from various fields of knowledge, reflecting culture, history, politics, science, technology and many other aspects of life.
